Kicking out illegal immigrants racist?! Hell no!

Read another article about letting in more immigrants at http://abcnews.go.com/US/story?id=3181573&page=1 today, and in the comments once I again I keep seeing the word "racist" being thrown around at those of us who want to keep the illegals out. What utter nonsense.

Immigration control is not about keeping out any particular ethnicities as much as it is about protecting American ideology, identity, and stability.

There are plenty of respected citizens in this country with something other than a pure Caucasian ethic background. I'm sure those who want to let these guys in would be happy to enumerate them for you.

The thing is, I am happy to grant citizenship to those of any racial background with the understanding of and desire to execute the liberties, freedoms, and responsibilities of American citizens. But, too many immigrants think of coming to the U.S.A. as an opportunity to come to a protectionist society where they will have no governmental worries, no societal responsibilities. Instead of leaving their political ideologies behind, they bring them here. Instead making America their home, they send their earnings overseas to their "true home". Some vote for socialist policies to benefit their own ethnic backgrounds instead of looking out for the good of the country. All illegal aliens flaunt our laws -- by definition they came here illegally! How is this behavior that of a good American citizen?

You want to let in more immigrants? Fine. Fix the system by which we decide who to grant citizenship to. Require them to prove they'll be good American citizens. Make their citizenship contingent upon proving it over time.

I would happily grant citizenship to a million Arnold Schwarzeneggers of any racial background. Give me a Mexican with the desire to be AMERICAN and not a MEXICAN in America, and I will grant him citizenship. Send the other other fakers home.
